Terms of Service: The Plain-English Rules

Getting In: Age and Accounts

ChatRandomegle is for adults. If you are under 18, or below the minimum age where you live, you may not use it, and you may use it only where the law that applies to you allows. You can try it without an account. If you create one, you agree to:

• Give truthful details and keep them current.
• Never sign up with someone else's identity, or with false or stolen information.
• Keep the account to yourself, without selling, renting or handing it over.
• Leave security checks and rate limits alone.
• Tell us quickly if you think someone else has got into it.

Using ChatRandomegle

ChatRandomegle matches you one-to-one with another person for a chat in text, audio or video. Depending on the day it may also include account tools, coins and premium options. How ChatRandomegle works explains the basics.

We may add, change, limit or retire features for legal, technical, security or business reasons. We cannot promise that any feature will always be there or that the service will run without interruption. Matches, response rates, call quality and personal outcomes are not guaranteed.

What Is Not Allowed

Use the service lawfully and with respect for the person in front of you. You may not use it to harass, deceive, exploit or harm anyone, or to disrupt how it runs. That includes:

• Unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or rights-infringing content.
• Sexual content, nudity, anything that exploits minors, violent threats or hate speech.
• Impersonation, or misleading people about who you are.
• Bots, scripts, scraping or reverse engineering.
• Scams, off-site payment schemes, spam or abusive commercial activity.
• Stalking, extortion, pressure, unsafe requests or malicious links.
• Capturing, recording or republishing another person's face, voice or messages.

Paying: Coins and Premium Sessions

Starting is free. Longer or premium sessions can use coins or other paid options, and the price and conditions appear on the relevant screen before you confirm.

• Payment providers may handle your payment under their own terms, and we do not necessarily keep your full card details.
• Coins and other virtual items have no cash value unless the law says otherwise.
• Completed purchases and used services are generally not refundable, unless the law requires it or an offer says so.
• Fraud, chargebacks and suspected unauthorised use can lead to cancelled orders, limits or suspension.

Your Content and Our Rights

What you type, say, show or send is your responsibility, including your display name, any picture and what your camera shows. Share only what you have the right to share and are comfortable with someone else seeing or hearing. Anything you make public can be seen, shared, cached or indexed by search engines, and deleting it does not remove it at once from search results or from copies held elsewhere.

The software, design, name and other protected material of ChatRandomegle belong to us or our licensors, and you may not copy, scrape or reverse engineer them without permission. You keep the rights to what you create, and you give us the permissions reasonably needed to host, display, process, moderate and store it. If your content infringes someone else's rights, you may be responsible for the consequences.

When We Step In

If we suspect a breach of these terms, our safety rules or the law, we may look into it and, where reasonably necessary:

• Remove or restrict content.
• Warn you, or limit matching, messaging or purchases.
• Suspend, freeze or close an account, or block access.
• Cancel transactions or reverse benefits where the law and our rules allow.
• Keep relevant records and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

After an account is closed we may delete or anonymise some data within a reasonable time. Certain records may stay where we need them for legal reasons, security, fraud prevention or disputes.

Other Services We Rely On

We use or link to outside services for payments, analytics, hosting and content delivery. They work under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not control them and cannot guarantee that they will be available or secure, so please read their terms before you use them.

Our Limits

We work to keep ChatRandomegle secure and available, but to the fullest extent the law allows it is provided "as available". We make no promise of uninterrupted access, error-free operation or any particular personal, social or commercial result.

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from outside services, from other users' content or behaviour, from your failure to protect your login, or from events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not let us limit, or takes away consumer or privacy rights you have under the law.

Changes, Privacy and Contact

We may update these terms when the service, the law or our risk controls change. For material changes we will revise the date above and may tell you on the site, and using ChatRandomegle afterwards means you accept the update. How personal information is handled is covered in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
